books in the early teens. Very early ones were not dated but had letter
codes. Another interesting item to have for the collection. |
This is the earliest book I have at
the moment in my collection dated 1913. It is one of the earliest but not the
first. When Ball first started making these they were not called Blue books as
you see. This book is entitled "The Ball Preserving Book" and is in
excellent condition. 56 pages of recipes and methods used to preserve it is an
interesting book.
